This series consists of one bound volume of annual reports published by the Lutheran Church in America (LCA) Board of World Missions (BWM) from 1963-1971. The reports in this bound volume comprise a general overview of the mission fields in which the LCA worked and are a good source for basic information. There are three reports, but only one is dated. The description "annual report" is something of a misnomer. It appears the first report was published sometime in 1962 and focuses on the merging of mission fields of the predecessor churches of the LCA. The second report is dated 1965-1966 and highlights work, it appears, since the printing of the first report. The third report is undated and only contains a general overview of each mission field in which the LCA worked.
